JEE Main Eligibility Criteria(NTA):
Candidates must follow JEE Main Eligibility Criteria formed by National Testing Agency.
Age Limit(Date of Birth):
As per the category of the applicant’s age division it is formed: General candidates: on or after 01/10/1994 (D.O.B) SC/ST/PWD candidate: on or after 01/10/1989(D.O.B) As a proof of date of birth: 10class Board certificate . No other documents must not be granted as a proof of date of birth in JEE Main 2019 Examination.
Maximum Time Attempts:
The Candidate gets chance maximum three times. He/she can sit in 2016. Next 2017 and finally 2018. He or she can not appear in 2019 JEE Main examination. Be conscious of your attempt numbers before filling up the JEE Main Application form. Candidates complete the registration but do not appear in the entrance test. Then his or her count is not added.
Year of Appearance Qualifying Examination (QE):
Class 12th passed candidates or passed any equivalent Examination in 2017 or 2018 or appear in 2019 class 12th examination are eligible in JEE Main 2019. Candidates Appeared in 2016 are not eligible similarly candidates appear in 2020 board examination are not eligible in JEE Main examination. Candidates
failed in 2016 in 12th class examination. But she or he passed 2017 class 12th examination is not eligible in
JEE Main examination.
Qualifying Examination (QE) Number Of Subjects:
The candidate takes minimum five subjects in class 12th or equivalent examination. He or she does not take less than five subjects to appear in JEE Man examination in 2019 Through Central Seat Allocation Board
based on All India Rank candidates take admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs . One candidate requires 75% marks in XII Class examination or Top 20 percentile cut-off marks for Class XII exam under the Broad. One S.C. candidates needs 65%. as a qualifying marks in XII Class examination. Subject combination is an important part in the qualifying examination for taking admission to B.E. /B. Tech. & B. Arch./B. Planning Courses in NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs.
Follow the criteria on class 12th or equivalent examination.
Passed 12th examination taking physics and Mathematics as a compulsory
subjects. And candidate also takes any one of chemistry ,Biotechnology, Biology, Technical
B. ARCH / B. PLANNING:
Candidate passed10+2 with mathematics.
Admission Eligibility to other Institution:
Candidate gets chance to other Institutions participating in counselling through Jo SAA/CSAB. A State may take decision to admit students in engineering colleges affiliated to state universities.
Examination JEE Main:
Willing students have to appear in Paper-1 for getting admission in B.E./ B..Tech and Paper-11 for getting admission in B Arch / B. Planning. Paper 1 has two modes- offline ( Pen and Paper) and Online(examination based on computer) candidates choose only one option. Paper 11 has only one mode .the pen and paper based examination.
There are two papers arranged by National Testing Agency in JEE Main Examination. Paper 1 for the course of
B.E/ B. Tech and Paper 11 for the course of B Arch, B Planning. A Student may take Paper 1 or Paper 11 or both as per his or her seeking course.
